How it works

We provide a range of opportunities to access our innovative programme, e.g. through schools and educational settings, youth groups and community organisations.

Currently we are booking for hourly workshops delivered in 8 week blocks from August ‘24 and through the autumn term. Below is a description of what we do:

Workshops are designed to inspire and equip children with strategies to enable them to access innate wellbeing and resilience and promote confidence and self belief.

We get curious about the state of flow - with the help of creative exercises and relaxation. This empowers us to trust in ourselves and like who we are, encouraging personal development.

These values underpin all our sessions. Children are supported to harness inner tools they can rely on as they navigate life’s ups and downs, helping them realise their full potential.

We recognise the importance of connection and relationship building and encourage kindness, empathy and gratitude to create a nurturing, safe inclusive space. We learn that we are all different, but that each has much to contribute – valuing individual opinions without judgement.   Play and fun are key in our delivery of these ideas and we also use calming strategies to ground us. These help us to be our authentic selves and learn to self–regulate.

Finally, we strive to make everyday a great day - even in the smallest way, by noticing our little achievements, being aware of the beauty around us and appreciating that we are enough, unique and amazing just the way we are!

A Typical Session: 1 hour

Weekly (1 hour) sessions are available locally, in community settings at amenable times accommodating school time-tables and busy family life. They can run within or out with the school day.

We employ play, drama, games and creative exercises to examine key concepts in a fun, safe environment. Other activities will include movement, dance, the visual arts, music, comedy, writing, yoga and learning about the benefits of being in nature. Sessions are interactive allowing space for reflection, active learning, discussion and sharing. The course will be regularly refined, informed by feedback from the workshops from this collaborative and co-creative programme.

We encourage children to be curious about activities that make ‘them tick’, providing enjoyment and relaxation whilst boosting confidence and self-esteem.

We conclude sessions with exercises to promote mindfulness and self-regulation including breath work and relaxation.
